Continuing our series of academic showcase events, three of the Penryn campus’s leading academics will be explaining what their research can tell us about the future of Cornwall, and the impact the University will have on it.

Exeter alumni and members of the public are invited to come and learn about some of the world leading research that’s being carried out on the Penryn, and the difference it will make to the future of Cornwall.

The Chancellor of the University of Exeter, Lord Myners of Truro, will be introducing Dr Joanie Willett, lecturer in Politics and expert on local government, economic development and identity politics; Dr Bryony Onciul, senior lecturer in history and programme lead for the new MA in International Heritage Management; and Prof Stefano Pascucci, Professor in Sustainability and the Circular Economy at the University of Exeter Business School. They will each be showcasing their research and talking about the relevance of their work to Cornwall, and what it can tell us about the future of the region.

There will be an opportunity to put questions to the academics, and time to chat with fellow guests over drinks and canapes.
