Future Challenges for Autonomous Vehicles (Lecture at Streatham Campus, Exeter)

The introduction of Autonomous Vehicles on public roads throughout the UK has turned from fiction to reality. These vehicles are likely to radically transform the lives of citizens, by making roads safer, providing more environmentally friendly travel, and enhancing productivity. However, the number of challenges to be faced cannot be underestimated also, whether through technological, mobility or legal.
