Access to funding and finance for researchers: KTN

Academics and researchers who are interested in the Knowledge Transfer Network are invited to a session by Hazel Biggs, Knowledge Transfer Network lead on ‘Access to Funding and Finance for researchers’. She will cover the KTN’s strategies for assisting innovative companies through the application and raising of finance – lending, grants, or equity based.

Hazel will give a short overview of the KTN including their network reach, special interest groups and how they can support academia. She will then move into a presentation on accessing funding and finance and the options available to academia.

Her team delivers the Venturefest and Pitchfest networks, and works with several early stage investors in preparing companies for investment.
