Institute of Coding Summer School 2019 at the University of Exeter

An introduction to the fundamentals of computer programming

For students with little or no experience of programming or coding, the Institute of Coding Summer School at Exeter is an opportunity to enhance your digital skills through a course designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of computer programming and social data analysis.


Event details

We are looking for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who may have not yet had the opportunity to learn these types of skills (e.g. humanities and social science students).

A desire to challenge yourself and learn to code is the only requirement*. A background in maths or statistics is not needed!

You can apply to attend just one week, or a combination of the three:

Block 1: Coding Boot Camp (24th - 28th June 2019)

Block 2: Social Data Analytics (01st - 05th July 2019)

Block 3: Artificial Intelligence (08th - 12th July 2019)*

*Block 3 requires some basic previous experience or completion of Block 1 and/or 2

We are offering full tuition bursaries to all successful applicants in 2019!
