Event details

About:

A small research group from Exeter Local History Society (composed of former NHS staff)
explored the range of information that survives about the seven sites in Exeter that were used as Red Cross temporary war hospitals, the patients who were admitted to them, and the staff and volunteers who provided treatment and care within the hospitals and in the wider community.

Reed Hall, then called Streatham Hall, was Hospital number 7.

Dr Julia Neville, an Honorary University Fellow of the History Department, was Research Coordinator of the Group, and will tell us what their research group discovered.

Join us for lunch from 12 noon. The talk will begin at 2 pm.
