ICS Women's History Conference
This year’s annual conference of the Institute of Cornish Studies celebrates the role and study of Women’s history in Cornwall. The format of the event is a series of speakers followed by Q&A sessions and open forum discussion.

Confirmed speakers and participants to date are Helen Doe, Melissa Hardie-Budden, Jo Mattingly, Charlotte MacKenzie, Garry Tregidga, Lesley Trotter and Kathy Wallis covering topics including emigration, shipping, politics, First World War, science, literature and music.
The day will close with The Ingleheart Singers and The Suitcase Singers led by Claire Ingleheart performing songs recently commissioned to celebrate women from Cornwall's past. The event is supported by the Caroline Kemp Bursary and free refreshments (including lunch) will be provided.
