Abstract
RTI is a computational method for combining multiple digital photographs to reveal hidden inscriptions and uncover details obscured by oxidation, weathering and otherwise challenging surfaces. I will summarise the RTI process, discuss the minimum equipment requirements, and show a variety of results we have obtained. These results include Roman hair combs from Vindolanda, Thracian loom weights and a neolithic fire place from Bulgaria, graffiti from the Church of the Holy Cross in Crediton, and a Great Seal of Elizabeth I from Teignmouth & Shaldon Museum.
