The Science of Illusions: What can illusions tell us about how we perceive the world?
There's a large public interest in illusions, but beyond that initial fascination most people have little understanding in the public about why we sometimes fail to experience the world as we should. This talk presentation will give members of the public (and the topic appeals broadly to all age groups) a chance to experience some illusions they won’t have come across before, and give them some insight into why they come about. They’ll also learn a bit about how science works in the context of illusions.
