General practice is increasingly digitised, with patients having the option to book online, access their records, have remote consultations and engage with apps and other online interventions. Changes to the GP contract mean these services are here to stay. But have they been thought through? Who benefits and who doesn’t? Why is this important? Helen will chart the landscape and how assumptions are or are not supported by evidence, and highlight where the potential benefits of digital might be found, and for whom, and the groups we must ensure are not left behind.
