Digital Humanities Workshop: Introduction to Digital Editing

Sign up required. The workshop is intended for staff and postgraduates who are interested in learning digital editing skills. We will provide hands-on experience of the basics of TEI (Text Encoding Initiative) XML, a standard that is widely used to encode primary source texts for critical editions and digital text resources. No prior experience is necessary, though people who have attended the workshop 'Making Digital Editions: Whats, whys & hows of digital textual scholarship' will find it a useful practical first step.
