Exeter in Times Top 10
The University has been rewarded with a top ten ranking in The Times Good University Guide 2012, one of the key UK league tables. Exeter moves into 10th place, up from 12th last year, after leapfrogging York and Edinburgh. The guide is launched formally later this month when department rankings will also be published. The Times’ ranking follows a similarly strong performance in the Guardian table which placed the University 11th, up from 14th last year.

Staff celebration
All staff will be invited to a special celebration late July to celebrate re-achieving top 10 status and the Vice-Chancellor's knighthood, announced in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. The event will also serve as a thank-you to staff for continuing to provide a top 10 service despite the inconveniences of the capital programme.

Strategy 2015
The new strategy document is almost ready for release. Following consultation with many staff and students, it sets out our mission, values and key characteristics, and brings together the main themes from our Education, RKT and Internationalisation strategies.
