University accommodation
The University offers both catered and self catered student accommodation. If you are offered a place in University accommodation you will receive information outlining all contractual obligations.
If you wish to view your contract or confirm your arrival date please log in to your accommodation account.
If you are allocated to nominated accommodation at Northfield your details will be passed over to Unite, the company who own and manage the residence. You will then enter into a contract directly with Unite. Services and facilities do vary from University-owned accommodation and you should confirm all details by reading the contract once issued.
Students can contact their residence reception staff for housekeeping and maintenance matters (eg keys, accessibility, cleaning, damage, equipment failure).
Residence Life Teams offer support to all residents of University accommodation, and in an emergency Estate Patrol can contact support services from across the University to assist you.
Development programme
The University of Exeter has embarked upon an ambitious £275 million development programme on the Streatham campus which will improve living, learning and research facilities. One of the major elements of this investment programme is new student accommodation. These exciting developments mean construction work has taken place at Birks Grange Village, Duryard and Lafrowda.
If you would like more information about the building projects on the University's Streatham campus, please visit our Investing in the future pages .
