Need somewhere to study or use a computer?
See below for some study location suggestions on Streatham Campus and St. Luke's Campus that might come in useful during refurbishment of the main library and the Forum development works. You can also download a pdf version of the Alternative study locations map (available offline). Exeter has a number of public libraries, for further details of these see Devon County Council's library pages online.
Streatham Campus
- Devonshire House - Junior Common Room (2), 1st Floor
- Main Library (4) 98 PC seats & 10 laptops are available for loan from the IT Help Desk
- Research Commons - Old Library Building (7) - 96 quiet study spaces. 15 PCs and 2 laptops available for loan
- Queen’s Building (11) - 26 seat 24/7 PC Cluster and 21 PCs in the LaTiS suite
- Arab World Documentation Unit - IAIS Building (16) - 16 seats
- Law Library - Amory Building (29) - 400 seats including quiet and group study space.
- 36 seat 24/7 PC cluster beside library entrance; 12 PCs within the Law Library and 3 laptops available for loan
- Streatham Court - (31) Room 0.93 - 77 seat 24/7 PC cluster, room 0.73 – 35 PC seats and printing facilities, room 0.31 – 30 PC seats
- Lopes Hall (No IT facilities) (34)
- Study Room 9am to 5pm.
- Dining Room11am to 3.30pm
- Hope Hall Bar (No IT facilities) (41) 9am to 5pm
- Mardon Hall Study Space (No IT facilities) (58) 9am to 5pm
- Holland Hall - Dining Room (62) - 11am to 3pm (unless meetings are being held)
- Amory 24 hour PC cluster (29) – 33 PC seats.
St. Luke's Campus
The Stagecoach 'D' bus service provides a direct link between the St. Luke's and Streatham campuses.
- Haighton library (6) - 80 seats including silent, quiet, group and social study spaces.
- 28 seat 24/7 PC cluster behind entrance; 7 PCs within the library and 5 laptops available for loan.
- Baring Court room 114 - 100 PC seats
