Exeter is a great place to live and study. The city and university both offer a wide range of social activities to keep you entertained outside of lectures and the library! On campus the Lemon Grove, affectionately referred to as ‘The Lemmy’ by students, has weekly club nights which are appreciated and enjoyed by every year group – a great opportunity to mix with different halls and years. The Lemmy also plays centre stage in getting music acts to come and perform, from Ms Dynamite to Funeral for a Friend.
The city centre has four main clubs which all vary in style and club nights, so if you fancy a night on the town you will never find a dull moment. Exeter also has a huge selection of restaurants, bars and cafés for those quieter nights. The Cavern and the Phoenix extend on the Lemmy’s offer of live music and has something for everybody, regardless of your taste in music.
