Rules and regulations
The University has IT Regulations to make sure the systems aren’t misused, and IT use is also subject to national laws. By registering for your course, you agree that your use of IT will comply with all these regulations.
These rules apply to anyone using any kind of computer hardware or software, for any purpose, at the University of Exeter, even if it’s their own equipment and even if it’s not connected to the institution through a network. They also apply to anyone at Exeter using the computer facilities of another university, college or organisation.
If you break the rules, even if you’re not aware you’re doing it, you may face University disciplinary action or even legal action. To be safe, check the summary of what you've agreed to on the regulations for using computing facilities web page.
