AccessAbility Rooms

There are 4 AccessAbility Rooms, which are situated in the Forum Library on Levels -1 , 0 and +1.

These rooms contain:

• AccessAbility 1 (Level -1, Forum Library) – 2 seats [1 adjustable], 2 tables [1 adjustable], 1 computer
• AccessAbility 2 (Level -1, Forum Library) - 2 seats
• AccessAbility 3 (Level 0, Forum Library) – 5 seats, 3 computers
• AccessAbility 4 (Level +1, Forum Library) – 2 seats ,  1 computer, 1 printer, 1 scanner

The PCs are loaded with a variety of useful software such as:

• Speech recognition software –
     Dragon Naturally Speaking, Freespeech and Texthelp Read and Write Gold
• Braille DBT Reader
• Mind mapping software – Inspiration Pro
• Screen Reading software – Jaws 4

Using these rooms

• This room is bookable for students who have registered with AccessAbility
• If you want to book this room, contact AccessAbility@exeter.ac.uk
• If this room is free, any student may use it however, please leave if:
  
      1.  Someone with a booking arrives
      2.  An AccessAbility registered student needs to use the specialist facilities, even without a booking.
