Group Study, Amory Study Centre
Bookable Study Space
The libraries across our campuses have various study spaces and facilities that students can book in order to practise presentations, watch films, or just discuss work in a more private environment. We administrate bookings for some of these rooms.
Amory Study Centre
There are 5 bookable group study rooms which seat 6-8. You can book online at Student Group Work Areas.
Forum Student Services Centre, Interview Rooms 1- 8
These 8 rooms are accessed via the Student Services Centre in the Forum, Ground Floor. The spaces are bookable using "Request a Room" online system, located at Student Group Work Areas
- There are 7 rooms which seat up to 3 people each
- There is 1 room which seats 8 people
- Bring your own laptop (or borrow a Loan Laptop available from the IT Helpdesk)
- These rooms are available for booking between 5pm – 8pm Monday to Friday; and 10am – 3pm Saturday
- Bookings are allowed on a rolling 28 day basis
- Each student has a 1 hour allowance for booking each week
St. Luke's Library
The bookable learning spaces are:
- Student Presentation Room - for teaching, practising presentations using an interactive whiteboard and video conferencing. Please book this room online through Student Group Work Areas
- Consultation Room 2 - for small group study. To book this room please email lukeslib@exeter.ac.uk
Research Commons
The bookable learning spaces are:
- Listening booth - for listening to the University's music collections, housed in Research Commons. To book please contact the Research Commons reception.
- Seminar rooms A and B - These can be booked through the central Room Bookings system.
