Student checklist

I have:

  • Collected my room key (if in University accommodation)
  • Activated my University of Exeter IT account
  • Completed my Campus IT registration (If based at the Cornwall campus)
  • Registered with the University
  • Received or collected my UniCard
  • Checked my computer for virus protection
  • Read my Welcome Bag booklets (either when collecting my accommodation key or from the Students' Guild Information Point if Exeter based or any relevant material provided by Cornwall)*
  • Checked which Freshers' Week events I need to attend
  • Given proof of my qualifications to the Admissions Team (if asked for)
  • Given the University my term-time address (if in private accommodation)
  • Met my personal tutor
  • Enrolled on my modules (usually on Colleges Day)
  • Registered with the Health Centre, or the Penryn Surgery for Cornwall Campus students
  • Contacted AccessAbility (Exeter) or Accessibility Service (Cornwall) if needing disability support
  • Paid my fees and any accommodation charges
  • Checked my bank account to ensure that my maintenance loan has been paid (for undergrads receiving a loan from the SLC)
  • Subscribed to my internet connection (If based at the Cornwall Campus and living in University accommodation)
  • Visited the library
  • Considered my skills development needs for academic study 
  • Visited the Career Zone in the Student Services Centre
