Student checklist
I have:
- Collected my room key (if in University accommodation)
- Activated my University of Exeter IT account
- Completed my Campus IT registration (If based at the Cornwall campus)
- Registered with the University
- Received or collected my UniCard
- Checked my computer for virus protection
- Read my Welcome Bag booklets (either when collecting my accommodation key or from the Students' Guild Information Point if Exeter based or any relevant material provided by Cornwall)*
- Checked which Freshers' Week events I need to attend
- Given proof of my qualifications to the Admissions Team (if asked for)
- Given the University my term-time address (if in private accommodation)
- Met my personal tutor
- Enrolled on my modules (usually on Colleges Day)
- Registered with the Health Centre, or the Penryn Surgery for Cornwall Campus students
- Contacted AccessAbility (Exeter) or Accessibility Service (Cornwall) if needing disability support
- Paid my fees and any accommodation charges
- Checked my bank account to ensure that my maintenance loan has been paid (for undergrads receiving a loan from the SLC)
- Subscribed to my internet connection (If based at the Cornwall Campus and living in University accommodation)
- Visited the library
- Considered my skills development needs for academic study
- Visited the Career Zone in the Student Services Centre

- Log in to MyExeter the student portal and check my University email account
- Access electronic library resources
- Log in to my electronic learning resources
- Find skills support for my academic study
* Students not living in university accommodation in Exeter can collect their Welcome Bag from the SID Desk, Forum.
