PenCLAHRC team, developments in stroke care

PenCLAHRC’s (the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care South West peninsula) involvement in the delivery of vital clot-busting treatment to stroke sufferers saw major improvements to treatment within weeks at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. The number of patients receiving the treatment more than doubled, and the time taken to deliver the treatment was nearly halved.
