This is a flexible programme allowing you to customise your module choices within a range of subjects in the fields of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies such as, Islamic philosophy, Kurdish studies, North African politics and Middle Eastern languages. This freedom of choice will enable you to adapt the programme according to your interests and passions. It is also an excellent choice to enhance your current employment as you can, to a great extent, tailor the programme to your specific needs.
The well paced nature of the programme means that it is suitable for graduates you have no prior knowledge of either subject area, whilst also appealing to graduates who would like to deepen an existing knowlege in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. All modules in the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies are based on recent cutting-edge research so knowledge gaps will be closed quickly.
The programme will enable you to competently address issues in the twin fields of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, and effectively combine your knowledge in both areas.
