• Dr Carol Woodhams has a £45,000 project with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development to develop a new flexible learning postgraduate syllabus for professional human resources education in the UK.
• Professor Richard Owen holds a grant from the Economic and Social Research Council to host a policy seminar on the subject of creating a Responsible Innovation Framework. This six-month study will develop an initial Responsible Innovation Framework for future potential implementation across Research Councils and other funding bodies involved in funding science and innovation, such as the Technology Strategy Board. It will provide a framework that when followed by funders and those they fund, promotes the responsible and sustainable emergence of high impact science, innovation and new technologies in a democratic society.
