Funding
The Geography department in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences has previously received funding from a variety of sources including AHRC, ESRC, NERC, EPSRC and Great Western Research (GWR) as well as national organisations (Environment Agency, DfID, DEFRA) and major UK charities (British Academy, Leverhulme Trust, Nuffield Foundation, Royal Geographical Society). Funding for PhD study may be available through the South West Doctoral Training Centre in the areas of Environment, Energy and Resilience, Health and Wellbeing and Security, Conflict and Justice.
