Opportunities for Teaching
The School is committed to providing opportunities for research students to teach in the School, where this is appropriate to their professional development and to the needs of the School’s programmes. Students who work as teachers will need to demonstrate that they have the appropriate teaching skills or will be required to undergo training. You will be supported by a member of staff from the School during your teaching. You will, of course, be paid for your work. The School does not guarantee that teaching will be available for all students who apply for it. For further information see the School’s Funding webpages, and the University Code of Good Practice - Employment of Postgraduate Research Students.
