There is a wide range of entertainment for all postgraduate students at both Exeter and Cornwall campuses.Exeter
The Lemon Grove is the main live music venue and nightclub on the Streatham Campus in Exeter. It regularly plays host to well-known bands and some of the best nights out in Exeter. Last year saw Chase and Status, Black Veil Brides, We are Scientists, Foreign Beggars, Example, The King Blues, Miss Dynamite, Jaguar Skillz and Frank Turner play here. Every Saturday over 1,200 students descend on the Lemon Grove for the ‘Lemmy’ club night. Our student groups also put on regular events from RAG nights to Beats and Bass sessions. For more information please visit the Exeter Box Office.
Cornwall
The Stannary, with a 1,300 capacity, is the social hub of the campus and is fast becoming one of Cornwall’s best venues, with gigs, comedy and a weekly club night. As its status grows, so does the profile of the acts performing, which have included Chase and Status, The Correspondents, A-Skillz, Benji Boko and Love Riot. Open mic and film nights also run regularly and local and student bands frequently get the chance to entertain.
The Woodlane Bar, part of Falmouth University, is available to University of Exeter students too, and provides a great alternative within Falmouth itself. For more information please visit the What's On section of the FXU Students’ Union website.
