Women in Mining (UK) Scholarship

About the award

The Camborne School of Mines is delighted to offer exceptional female Mining Engineers the opportunity to receive scholarships to support their studies. There are usually two awards available; details for 2019 entry will be confirmed shortly.

The scholarships will be awarded at the panel’s discretion to the applicants considered most deserving of the award. The scholarship is payable as a cash sum upon enrolment.

Please note that the scholarship can only be awarded to a female student who has gained an offer of a place to study MSc Mining Engineering at the University of Exeter. You will be asked for your University of Exeter student number upon application. If you do not have a student number you will not be eligible to apply. The WIM(UK) scholarship will be awarded to a UK student, the CSM Trust scholarship is open to all nationalities. The successful candidates will be expected to take part in activities to promote women in mining. 

How to apply

Applicants are asked to provide a 500 word statement outlining how this scholarship would help them pursue their studies and career within Mining.
