Visiting us

Visiting our beautiful campuses and speaking to our academic staff and current postgraduate students is the best way to find out about studying for a postgraduate degree with the University of Exeter.

Postgraduate Open Days

Our Postgraduate Open Days are much smaller-scale events than our large Undergraduate Open Days, and they offer fantastic opportunities to speak to our academics and current postgraduate students one-to-one so that you can find out more about our individual programmes, about scholarships and about funding, and experience our campuses and facilities first-hand.

Our Postgraduate Open Days for 2016 have now finished for the year, but you can still arrange to visit individual departments if you want - see below.

Postgraduate Open Days 2017

We will confirm the dates for our 2017 entry Postgraduate Open Days soon - they will probably be in mid November 2016 and in early March 2017.

Undergraduate Open Days

You are welcome to come and talk to us about postgraduate study at our Streatham Undergraduate Open Days, too; we have a stand where you can talk to our postgraduate students, pick up a prospectus, and find out about postgraduate funding. Our stand is normally in the Academic Fair in the Great Hall. All of the other events and services on the day are as open to potential postgraduates as they are potential undergraduates, but keep in mind that they may not all be relevant.

You can also pick up a postgraduate prospectus and ask our Admissions staff about our courses and funding at our Penryn Undergraduate Open Days.

Our next Streatham Undergraduate Open Days are on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June 2016 and Saturday 1 October 2016.

Our next Penryn Undergraduate Open Days are on Saturday 11 June 2016 and Saturday 24 September 2016.

Find out more about our Undergraduate Open Days.

Each year we attend a number of postgraduate study events, for both taught and research, around the country. Please check back here for details: most events happen in the Autumn and early Spring.

If you'd like to find out more about one of our postgraduate programmes, our colleges welcome enquiries and will try to arrange a time for you to speak to an appropriate person. This will give you an opportunity to see the department first hand and ask any questions you may have face-to-face. You may also wish to time your visit with one of our campus tours. To enquire about the possibility of arranging a visit, please contact our colleges.

If you wish to enquire about meeting an academic member of staff at our Penryn Campus, please contact cornwall@exeter.ac.uk.
