I am an Associate Professor of Historical and Cultural Geography, in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences. Originally from near Penzance in Cornwall, both my research and teaching is largely focused on Devon and Cornwall, looking at aspects of heritage, memory and landscape, Methodism, oral history and agricultural change, regional identity and artistic practice. I spend much of my spare time walking, cycle touring and sea swimming, so Exeter is an ideal base.
