Records Management Services
The Records Management Service has responsibility for Records Management, Data Protection and Freedom of Information. The Service provides support, advice and guidance in all of these areas. The aim is to promote:
- A coordinated approach to Records Management across the University
- Consistent, efficient and robust practices regarding the creation, use, storage and disposal of records
- Compliance with relevant legislation & codes of practice

The Records Management Service has moved. It's now based in the IT Governance and Compliance section of Exeter IT. We still have the same responsibilities but will be able to work more closely with Information Security.
