Centre for Water Systems
The Centre for Water Systems - which does research into water supply and distribution systems, waste water and urban drainage systems, integrated modelling, risk and uncertainty, whole-life costing, water efficiency, catchment-based management, and spatial water management to name a few - is 15 years old.
To celebrate the anniversary the Centre is holding an Industry Awareness Day to demonstrate how expertise at the centre can help local, national and international businesses.
Professor Dragan Savic, Co-Director of the Centre for Water Systems said: “We are keen to encourage both local businesses and companies from further afield to find out more about the work we do. We are running this event to celebrate our 15th anniversary but also to find out how we can help meet the water engineering needs of new and existing industry partners.”
Co-director Professor David Butler added: “Collaborative research is a win-win situation, strongly encouraged by UK government.”
The event takes place on on Wednesday 27 November from 5 to 6.30pm at the Centre for Water Systems, Harrison Building, University of Exeter. Places are limited, please contact Alix Slater for further information and to book a place.
We took a look back at some of their previous research.
