Overview

Current Research:

My current research is in environmental geochemistry and mineralogy of mine wastes. I will be focusing of Cobalt mineralisation and speciation in mine wastes, soils and waters. The Aims of this research are three fold;

(i) Thorough mineralogical and geochemical characterisation of Co in solid and aqueous phases – two sites comparison approach

(ii) Investigate mineral interactions by simulating using PHREEQC

(iii) Determination of Bioaccessibility of different Co-mineral species in SLFs and SGFs

Supervisors:

Primary supervisor; Prof. Karen Hudson-Edwards (University of Exeter)

Co-supervisor; Dr Rich Crane (University of Exeter)
