Overview

I am a PhD student at the ESI in Penryn. My broad interests are microbiology and antimicrobial resistance. My research project is looking at antimicrobial resistance in the environment and how non-antimicrobial contaminants contirbute to the spread and developent of resistance genes. 

Qualifications

(2017) BSc Biology (Hons). 

Career

Animal and Plant Health Agency - Assistant Scientific Officer. I worked in a veterinary laboratory carrying out diagnostic and surveillience work. In particular I worked on antibiotic resistance monitoring and identifiyng brachyspira and campylobater from veterinary samples.
