Dr Karen Moore

Karen is a molecular biologist. Her role is to supervise the preparation and running of libraries for Illumina sequencing, including genomic sequencing, RNAseq, CHIPseq, nucleosome sequencing, RADseq and smallRNA sequencing from a variety of prokaryotic and eukaryotic species.

She can offer advice on aspects of project design, appropriate controls, sample preparation techniques and quality control.

Karen is involved in protocol optimization, including problem solving technical aspects of applications, projects and products, and in preparation of non-standard libraries. She demonstrates protocols, procedures and the instrumentation to academics, PDRA’s, PhD and undergraduate students.
