Together we are developing a clear and shared vision for the future of research into climate observations, modelling, predictions and impacts of climate change.

With both the Met Office Hadley Centre's and the University's extensive research links across the world, Exeter has an unrivalled opportunity to become a global centre for climate change research. We intend to work together to shape the UK research funding agenda, attract other partners and prepare the ground for initial joint proposals to build our vision.

Our joint priority is to establish a major, multidisciplinary research initiative which will analyse and translate climate change scenarios into effective policy development and improved understanding of impacts on human health, well-being and economic success in a sustainable future.
