Exploring the issues and challenges in applying the complex Global Climate Models to extrasolar planets
General Circulation Models applied to Exoplanets
Workshop at the University of Exeter, 5-7 December 2011
This workshop explored the issues and challenges in applying the complex Global Climate Models to the developing area of knowledge on extrasolar planets. Coordinated by Professor Isabelle Baraffe, the workshop featured leaders in these areas from the Astrophysics Group at the University of Exeter, the Met Office, and from other UK and international universities.
