Professor Mick Mangan from the department of Drama has recently received an AHRC Fellowship to study the representation of ageing in theatre. The project is due to start in January 2011. Find out more about the Staging Ageing project.
Dr Cath Haslam (Psychology) has recently featured on BBC1 programme The Young Ones, which featured an experiment where 6 well-loved older Brisitsh celebrities relived their lives as they were in 1975 in an attempt to make them literally think themselves younger. Find out more about the programme.
There are a number of other projects within the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry which are related to the PARC initiative.
