International climate conference highlights

Published on: 9 June 2014

In May we hosted the first gathering of Co-Chairs and authors from all three Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) working groups following the publication of their reports.

The IPCC report, known as AR5, provides a clear and up to date view of the current state of scientific knowledge relevant to climate change.

More than 500 climate scientists, policy makers, industry professionals, students, and members of the public participated in this exciting event hosted at the University of Exeter in partnership with the Met Office and the University of Leeds.

The two-day conference attracted a number of globally renowned researchers who shared their perspectives on the cutting-edge of science and social science.
