Cognitive and Computational NeuroscienceCognitive and Computational Neuroscience is the investigation of mental processes (e.g., perception, attention, memory, language) in health and disease, and their simulation and implementation in artificial neural-like systems. Research in this domain, which has seen recently unprecedented growth, is, by definition, interdisciplinary. It therefore requires a suitably broad range of expertise and the availability of multiple research facilities. The present network proposes to address this limitation. It aims to both enhance interdisciplinary research and increase its medical and economical relevance. The network, co-directed by Prof Adam Zeman (Peninsula Medical School) and Dr Aureliu Lavric (Psychology), brings together staff from four schools: Psychology, Peninsula Medical School, Physics, and Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science.
