Research Development Manager - EPSRC and Technology Strategy Board

Role

Charlie Lane is a Research Development Manager with responsibility for the EPSRC and Technology Strategy Board. This involves supporting and facilitating research applications, particularly those which are inter-disciplinary and/or involve multiple partners.
In addition Charlie is also involved in University strategic initiatives and provides support for the Functional Materials and Extra Solar Planets Science Strategy Themes.

Profile

Charlie joined the University in 2011, from the South West Regional Development Agency, where she was responsible for the Grant for Research and Development and other large innovation projects. Charlie has several years experience working with high growth technology smes and managing projects for both national and regional governments. Prior to this, Charlie worked in the commercial sector with technology ventures.
