Project Support Manager - Environment and Sustainability Institute
Role
Colette’s role is to provide project support for the ESI Knowledge Exchange (KE) Managers in building relationships between businesses in Cornwall and the University’s Environment and Sustainability Institute. The aim is to identify opportunities for collaborative research in the ESI’s three themes related to environmental change:
- Natural environment
- Clean technologies
- Social science and sustainability
Colette is responsible for the cohesive operations of the KE team in delivering “business assists”, economic growth and job creation targets set against the ESI by its funders including the ERDF Convergence partnership.
Profile
Colette successfully project led Knowledge Escalator (Convergence) to its full delivery and prior to joining the University, worked with Cornwall SSE to help local entrepreneurs set up new social enterprises. Colette also has a background in media buying and campaign management, tourism and teaching in Japan.
