Partnership and Information Manager

Role

Eleanor James manages Research and Knowledge Transfer’s (RKT) Operations and Partnership Support (OPS) Team which consists of 12 (FTE) officers and managers providing centralized support for RKT projects.

OPS coordinates:

• Event management,
• data and information collation and reporting,
• marketing and communications,
• business relations,
• finance support,
• support for Science and Humaities and Social Sciences Strategy themes,
• external projects, and,
• general administration.

Eleanor works with senior management in RKT to coordinate and embed a relationship management approach and communicate the strength of our research and knowledge transfer at Exeter internally and externally.

Profile

Eleanor joined the University in 2003, and has worked in a variety of roles for departments including Business Relations, Enterprise Development and Research and Knowledge Transfer.

She undertook a part-time BA Business Management degree at the University of Exeter and has recently returned from a 12 month secondment to the Vice-Chancellor and Registrars office.
