Business Development Officer

Role

Kurt works in the Commercial Development team, working on contract research and consultancy.  

This involves supporting academics and colleges with the development and management of research and consultancy projects with business and government to ensure the effective collaboration of organisations and academics.

He is also involved in supporting the team with the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP).

Profile

Kurt joined the team in September 2012. He read Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham before going onto to work in the NHS on a KTP with Plymouth University.

In that time he gained experience in health technology adoption and horizon-scanning as well as innovation and change management.
