Louise Williamson

Research Development Officer

Role

Louise currently works on the European Social Fund (ESF) Convergence funded Combined Universities in Cornwall (CUC) Research Programme, based at the Cornwall campus.

The project focuses on building opportunities for collaborative research and postgraduate training between the University and Cornish businesses.

As part of her role, Louise works closely with partners of the CUC to deliver a programme of events focused on developing research capacity. 

Profile

Before her move to Cornwall in 2009, Louise worked with apprentices in the North East of England through a variety of programmes delivered with colleges of Further Education including the City of Sunderland College and Gateshead College.

Louise also completed her degree in Leadership and Management on a part time basis through Northumbria University.

Prior to her employment with the University of Exeter in January 2012, Louise worked on four ESF Convergence funded projects involved which were aimed at enabling people in employment to enhance their existing skills. Louise was responsible for the monitoring the projects to ensure successful completion and adherence to ESF guidelines.
