PGR Development Manager

Role

Lucy works in close partnership with the Faculty of Graduate Research and academic colleges to support the graduate research opportunities, which includes major growth plans for PGR students.

To maximise the availability of funding, Lucy co-ordinates large cross-College PGR funding projects, such as the Doctoral Training Centres and Arts and Humanities Research Council Block Grant Partnership.

Lucy also works with academics to access other PGR funding opportunities, including Collaborative Awards in Science (CASE) and Engineering and industry funded studentships.

Profile

Lucy has a PhD in Landscape Archaeology from Exeter and investigated change and continuity in Devon’s Historic Landscape.

After lecturing in Landscape Archaeology at the University of East Anglia, Lucy returned to Devon in December 2009 and joined Research and Knowledge Transfer in July 2010.
