Role
Launching, assembling, developing and supporting high-potential regional businesses, primarily but not exclusively in eco-commercial sectors.
Operating as a high-intervention non-executive director or advisor, and playing an active role in all aspects of the business being supported, including raising funding, finding commercial partners, creating scripts and strategies, business plans, team building etc.
Managing a large portfolio of early stage companies and drawing them closer to the University.
Profile
Following a short career in the military, Rob was an equity analyst in the City for a number of years, which focused on the Technology, Media and Telecoms sector and venture capital work.
In 2003, he led a management buy-in of a company based in Northern Ireland which diversified into the energy efficiency and renewable energy sector.
Rob is a director of isca Diagnostics and Attomarker, two spin-out companies from the University of Exeter that operate in the medical diagnostic field.
Rob is a graduate of Southampton University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
