Project Support Manager

Role

Sarah currently works on the European Social Fund (ESF) Convergence funded Combined Universities in Cornwall Research Programme, based at the Cornwall campus.

The project focuses on building opportunities for collaborative research and postgraduate training between the University and Cornish businesses.

As part of her role, Sarah works closely with a wide range of local stakeholders and academics to develop opportunities for postgraduate students to undertake research projects and placements with local businesses.

Sarah also provides support for the ESF funded PhD programme and acts as the point of contact for the project with the managing authority.

Profile

Sarah joined Research and Knowledge Transfer in 2007 and has since worked on a number of ESF and European Regional Development Fund funded projects where she has been responsible for project delivery and monitoring.

Prior to working at the University, Sarah achieved a first class honours degree in Oceanography with marine biology from the University of Southampton, before attaining a distinction, and prize for the best in her year, for an MSc Biodiversity and Conservation here at the University of Exeter.
