Research & Knowledge Transfer Strategy
The Research and Knowledge Transfer Strategy 2009/10 – 2014/15 builds on our success in RAE2008. It aims:
- to improve our overall quality profile in the Research Excellence Framework (REF)
- to develop the research capacity necessary to sustain a UK Top 10 position
- to support the University’s move into the World Top 100 by 2015

Dual Assurance for Research & Knowledge Transfer
The high level work of Council, the University's governing body, and Senate which provides academic governance is supported through various key committees and the Dual Assurance structure.
