Research & Knowledge Transfer Strategy

The Research and Knowledge Transfer Strategy 2009/10 – 2014/15 builds on our success in RAE2008. It aims:

• to improve our overall quality profile in the Research Excellence Framework (REF)
• to develop the research capacity necessary to sustain a UK Top 10 position
• to support the University’s move into the World Top 100 by 2015

Dual Assurance for Research & Knowledge Transfer

The high level work of Council, the University's governing body, and Senate which provides academic governance is supported through various key committees and the Dual Assurance structure.

Research Excellence Framework (REF)
