Overview

I work in the Research Development and Management pillar of Research Services. I lead the Research Services structure that provides support to academics at both Cornwall campuses across the full research project lifecycle. Our activities include supporting Cornwall-led research themes, horizon scanning, research development, research bidding and research project delivery. We also provide funder expertise across the University for the Leverhulme Trust.

Prior to joining the University of Exeter in April 2016, I worked at NERC, focusing on Earth Sciences and Natural Hazards, and at the University of Bristol as a Research Associate, following the award of my PhD in freshwater ecology in 2010.
