Overview
I have a background spanning over 8 years in research development and impact within the Higher Education sector. I specialise in research development support to academics at every career stage. My expertise lies in the careful crafting of grant proposals across diverse funders, including UKRI, UK Government, and various charitable funders. Collaborating closely with academic colleagues within the ESE Faculty, I support the development of high-quality proposals, leveraging my extensive experience and in-depth understanding of funding requirements and priorities. I have particular expertise in supporting EPSRC and NERC proposals.

Career
I previously led the delivery of the EPSRC and ESRC Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAA) at Exeter, providing researchers with funding to use creatively for a wide range of impact activities. Prior to working at Exeter, I worked in 1 of 15 Health Innovation Networks established by NHS England to drive the development of programmes for the National Patient Safety Improvement Programmes. I have also undertaken project management roles including the management of seedcorn funding to promising and innovative ideas within the NHS.
