Overview
Social Sciences Cluster
Julie joined the University in 2014 and since then has supported academics across the whole research project lifecycle. From November 2019 Julie has been facing SSIS and the Business School through the Social Sciences Cluster. Prior to this she was facing CEMPS. Julie is Discipline Lead for Graduate School of Education, Politics, SITE, Economics and Management.
Julie's role is to provide research development and advice to academics submitting standard to high risk applications and to provide advice and support to the Directors of Research for the disciplines she faces. She supports both the research development and financial elements.
Prior to joining the University Julie was a Training Co-ordinator in a private training provider running a team of 5 Training staff, writing training programmes and delivering training and assessment (one to one and whole group) to a range of adult apprentices.
