Rebecca manages the GW4 Building Communities Programme. This involves overseeing the GW4 Master Budget, supporting the GW4 Chair and co-ordinating Building Communities Initiator and Accelerator funding calls . Rebecca leads on monitoring, capturing and reporting on the outputs and outcomes of GW4 Research Communities and works closely wth the GW4 Proramme Manager in contributing to the strategic development of the Building Communties Programme and ambitions of the GW4 Alliance.
MSc Forestry and its Relation to Land Use
Rebecca joined Exeter University in 2014. Her career began in the emerging field of forest certification where she was responsible for chain of custody audits and training. Over the next 20 years, Rebecca has held numerous project manager roles in the environmental and health fields and across the charitable, private and public sectors. Before joining the University, Rebecca worked for the National Lottery Board delivering their support for Health Living Centres. She has worked extensively in Africa as well as the UK and has sat as a magistrate in Exeter's North and East Devon Bench since 2010.
